I hope you know that even though it’s been a long time, I still love you just as much as the first night we met. In fact, my love grows more and more every day. Yes. I have a boyfriend now, but only because you will never feel the same way about me that I do about you. I chose to move on but now I don’t know if I can.
When I’m with him part of me wonders what it would be like if I was in your arms, then I realize I should be grateful for being in my boyfriend’s arms because he cares about me and I suppose I do care about him. I care enough to keep trying.
Then I remember how I spent my last night single with you and we were out until twelve thirty at night. I remember how I thought that life couldn’t get better than me being here alone with you surrounded by music. I was sitting beside you in a booth wishing the night would never end. We spoke about how I was expecting a guy to ask me out the next day. You laughed and said it was cute, and you didn’t really care as long as I was happy. When my soon to be boyfriend texted me you looked at me with a hollow face and said “wow, he must really like you.”
I never wanted that night to end. I wanted to be with you forever. I still remember how you smiled with your bright eyes as I walked out of my house to meet you that evening. I don’t know why you burst into a smile like that and it was just for a moment, but I like to think that you smiled because of me.
I can only wish that someday we will be together. I hope that you realize that love can surpass religion. I can only dream for now.

So, I love you. I bet you have absolutely no clue. It kills me not being able to tell you that. I will NEVER be able to tell you that because the risk of ruining it all is so huge. I would never ever expect to love someone like you, but you showed me what love IS. When you love someone you just know it, but to believe that fully I had to meet someone as amazing as you. No ones perfect until you fall in love with them… you’re perfect. In everyway. I’d literally give almost anything up for you. Love is the greatest power, the most overwhelmingly great emotion I’ve ever felt, and I don’t even have you. I can’t imagine how great it would be if I did. I hope that you are out there somewhere thinking about me. Just seeing you smile makes my whole day better. Makes my heart pound and swarms of butterflies come flying into my stomach. It feels as if the air is pushing into my lungs so fast that I’ll explode. Your loveliness overwhelms me. I hope one day you can know, and that you could feel this way about me. But its a false hope. No one completely understands the way I feel about you. Thank you for showing me what love is. And to all you out there reading this, you can’t stop loving someone. If you do, you never loved them in the first place. NEVER take love for granted. It may be your only shot. I love you, forever and always.

As annoying as it may be, I really hope you two never leave your “honeymoon” stage of your relationship. The way you treat each other with such care and genuine trust, and the way you two still find time to treat others normally simply amazes me.
